Since 2002, Freedom4U has provided youth programs focused around creative arts whereby young people can develop their talent as well as have a safe social place to attend. Young people also learn life skills, develop leadership abilities and learn from the experience of service.
We lead drug prevention seminars for parents and their sons & daughters. We also provide school based counseling services to at-risk youth and their parents. Partnering with us in the South Bay community are business, education, law enforcement, parent and community groups.
Freedom4U is incorporated as a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation 501(c)(3) in the State of California for Educational purposes. Freedom4U is not affiliated with any political or religious group. Donations & Gifts are tax deductible.
All youth will have opportunities to find their passions and purpose in life, thereby reducing risky lifestyles.
Freedom4U will identify, develop and release the potential of youth into their life purpose by offering peer-driven healthy activities such as creative arts, life skills, service projects, and leadership opportunities to youth in the South Bay and LA Harbor areas.
'I began participating in Freedom4U activities when I was 15. I've always loved music, and Freedom4U gave me the outlet to express myself and gave me way more performance opportunities, which truly benefited me as a musician. Now, I am pursuing music full time, and I'd like to think my high school performance opportunities with Freedom4U definitely helped me on my path to pursuing my goals'

Last Sunday I got the remarkable opportunity to serve people in the homeless shelter down in Long Beach. Looking back on the whole experience, I can honestly say that it was particularly rewarding and I am grateful to have been a part of this. Seeing all the jovial and appreciative people, just grateful to have a meal on their plate, really opened my eyes and made me realize how blessed we are to be living in a secure and gorgeous place like Palos Verdes. It’s quite easy to overlook how fortunate we are and after that experience I feel extremely thankful for everything my parents, friends, and even teachers do for me. While preparing the food for these people I also learned that it is imperative that we work together as a team. The process of making and serving the food went smooth and quick because everyone was cooperative and diligent. The people involved in this leadership group are really affable, which made the entire involvement more enjoyable and comfortable. Overall, I gained so much more knowledge about what it takes to be an effective leader from this experience and I’m excited for what lies ahead in this volunteer program.
